🎮 GTA 6 Looks Insane

Plus: I (finally) tried 'The First Berserker: Khazan'...

Good morning!

So, I took one (1) family vacation and the gaming world decided to set itself on fire. Rockstar dropped the GTA VI trailer mid-Mickey ears, Bungie tried to win a lawsuit with YouTube lore videos (bold move), and rumors say Half-Life 3 might actually exist outside the meme dimension.

In this edition, we’ve got:

  • GTA VI casually ending the genre again

  • Bungie getting legally roasted for vaulting their own game

  • And yep… Half-Life 3 is maybe finally real??

Here’s everything you need to know this week in the world of gaming.

GTA VI Trailer: Rockstar Just Casually Changed the Game Again

While I was out dodging strollers at Disney World, Rockstar decided to drop the GTA VI trailer like it was no big deal. Spoiler alert: it's a huge deal.

So let’s get this out of the way - the trailer is nuts. Every time we think Rockstar might fumble the hype, they pull out the god-tier dev magic and leave us drooling on our keyboards. This time? They’ve somehow made a six-pack of beer slosh realistically as Jason walks out of a store. Why? Because they can.

Here’s what stood out:

  • The detail is absolutely insane. We’re talking different trash in rich vs. poor neighborhoods kind of insane. No copy-paste dumpster assets here.

  • Lucia’s sunglasses? You can see the world reflecting in them. Like, actually see it. Full-blown ray tracing. On a PS5. Not the Pro. Just your average Joe PS5.

  • Captured footage from the trailer? All in-engine. All looking like something from 2035, not 2025.

Rockstar doesn’t just raise the bar, they build a new one, coat it in chrome, and then ray trace it. And the craziest part? They’re the only ones who can afford to. Everyone else? Still trying to finish their Early Access roadmap.

Look, I’m all for healthy skepticism. But if you’re still side-eyeing this game after 20 years of Rockstar single-player bangers, you might just be a professional hater.

TL;DR: If you’re launching a game in 2026... good luck, champ. GTA VI’s about to clear the runway.

Anyway, no streams this week… I’m off being a responsible adult. But this trailer? It made me want to cancel vacation and go record immediately. See you soon.

LATEST NEWS

GENERAL
  • Bungie tried to yeet a copyright lawsuit using a 10-hour YouTube lore doc and the judge said “nah.” Turns out, deleting half your game and replacing it with fan compilations doesn’t fly in court. Maybe vaulting the evidence wasn’t the master move they thought it was.. (PCGamer)

  • Rumor has it Half-Life 3 is not only real, it’s playable from start to finish. Valve might actually drop it this year. If you feel a strange chill this summer, that’s just Gabe Newell cracking open the vault. (WCCFTech)

I (finally) tried 'The First Berserker: Khazan'...

You all kept bugging me, “Luke, when are you trying First Berserker Kazan?”

Well, I did. And friends, this high-octane anime brawler is a delicious little chaos sandwich that I’m now fully addicted to. Think Bloodborne meets Saturday morning cartoons, with a combat system that’s tighter than your grandma’s Tupperware lid and a cell-shaded art style that absolutely slaps.

Also? I played it in 3D. No glasses. No gimmicks. Just straight-up eye-tracking wizardry on Samsung’s Odyssey 3D monitor, which literally made the snow feel like it was blowing into my room. I'm not saying it’s magic, but I’m also not not saying that.

The game itself?

  • Big weapons.

  • Fast parries.

  • NPCs with tragic dad backstories.

  • Loot galore.

  • And enough skill checks to remind you that you do, in fact, suck... until you don’t.

Wanna see me flail, fail, and then totally pop off? Watch the full breakdown and gameplay right here on the channel.

Come for the combat, stay for the loot drops and emotional cliffside deaths.
