So yeah,while Bethesda has been very busy saying nothing, modders quietly dropped what feels like Starfield 2.0… except it’s Star Wars, it’s free, and it absolutely slaps.

Enter Star Wars: Genesis,a 100GB+ overhaul mod that turns Starfield into a full-blown open-galaxy Star Wars RPG. New progression. New quests. New factions. Alien species. Actual vibes. This isn’t a reskin,it’s basically a new game squatting inside Starfield’s engine.

And yes, it made me want to play Starfield again, which was not on my 2026 bingo card.

🌌 What It Fixes (and Why That Matters)

Vanilla Starfield always had decent systems,ships, combat, scale,but the universe itself? Dry as space toast.
